You want the confidence of knowing that your finances are set up in the most cost-effective and tax-beneficial way – especially if you plan to travel the globe and have no real place to call home.
The problem is that this kind of advice is expensive – often as much as $150-200 per hour. Not to mention that the whole process of learning how to handle your own financial affairs can be lengthy and time-consuming. Often, you just don’t know where to begin.
Wouldn’t you like to have a resource that will give you a head start? Something that gave you the necessary information to consider every option available. Something which cuts down the time it takes to figure it all out yourself and saves you from spending hours & hours crawling through government sites on the internet.
What if you had access to a guide which explained the basics, laid out your options and gave you a clear step-by-step process to start sorting out your own tax and financial affairs? That’s what you’ll get when you get the LIP Tax & Finance Guide…
Why We Created This Guide
Some of the most frequently asked questions I receive, go something like this:
- Do I need to incorporate? If so, where should I do it?
- If I don’t have a home base in the US, am I still liable for tax? What if I’m no longer resident?
- What’s the difference between residency, domicile and citizenship? Does it matter?
- Although I’m liable for tax worldwide, is there any way I can minimize this if I’m nomadic?
I am always extremely reluctant to answer these questions since I am in no way qualified to do this – so for a long time, we’ve been looking for someone who can help us answer those questions…and finally we found them! You can find out more about Marion, the author of the guide below. She has written this guide to answer some of the basic questions about finance and tax matters for location independent people.
